who can't relate to gummi bears?
who hasn't felt like an outside at one time in their life?
I can almost hear the red bears' clique-y gossip and i can almost see the green bear's drooping posture. what really impresses me most is the fact that all gummi bears have that "posture" but you utilized it in different ways to mean different things in the same work. (ie all the red ones are huddled, leaning in towards each other)
ooo those red gummie bears i always knew they were bad they just tasted too good - no seriously i love the way you have captured such a detructive attitude that plagues so many peoples lives in this simple and child like way - especially as the need to fit in is most evident in primary and early high school years and relating that to something that children of that age group understand - plus i love gummie bears love the lighting nice use of depth of field for emphasis
Oh my gosh I remember this one. I commented on this when it first came out XD
"Both Powerful and delicious"
I suppose this time around I should say something more substantial. the meeting of the warm light and cool light is a nice effect. It increases the green isolation from the rest, who are bathed in orange light. It's a very subtle symbolism that adds so much to the piece, without even realing it. Good job
Bin gespannt
deine version zu sehen!
Fantastically composed! An old idea that gives a fresh and lighthearted view. It is cool that there is a sort of symbolism with the gummy bears which I would associate with being a kid; this concept is something that too many kids deal with at some point.
Absolutely great, it really express its meaning and the shallow depth of field renders it better, only problem is that it took me a bit to see that green beary there, maybe you could choose a perspective or some elements in the compositions to draw your attention on it.
Is there anyone who didn't feel like an outsider? We all know that it's imposibble to be loved by whole world, but it's always sad and so humiliating when you're so obviously rejected by a bigger group of people just becous you are... you. I like how you played with the colours of the gummy bears to make the effect of isolation. And I like the calming background. Though, as someone said before, maybe the focus is a bit wrong. Maybe you should have putted the green, isolated bear in the frst plan and not so blury. Anyhow, this is an extraordinary pic and it has found it's way to the hearts of art lovers
lmao, very very funny. Although the biggest complaint ihave on this piece is simply the gummy bears in the foreground are out of focus. I can tell the effect was supposed to be, red in focus green blured. But still....idk, good job overall.
